Buenos Aires soccer fans will be noticing a spirited new campaign that will feature one of the Argentine Primera Division’s top clubs, Boca Juniors. This new Nike Soccer ad centers on the tradition of league veterans that will be giving the new players very random hair cuts to mark their first game. Baptism, as the campaign is titled, is trying to show how the tradition both initiates rookies to the league, but also expresses their pride in wearing the Xeneize jersey. The ad, which showcases Boca Juniors stars Guillermo Burdisso, Matías Caruzzo, Gonzalo Escalante, Emanuel Insúa, Juan Manuel Martínez and Leandro Paredes from the first team, is airing now ahead of the Juniors’ match against Belgrano de Cordoba later tonight.
