This past weekend Closed Sessions and 1833 put together an excellent 2-night showcase at Schubas with performances from Lili K, Chandler London, Saba, Alex Wiley, The O’My’s, Vic Mensa and Phony PPL (among others). Both nights of A Tribute To Independence demonstrated Chicago’s rising scene and we were luckily there to capture some of what went down.
