Let us introduce you to British band, Last Heir. The group was formed at the beginning of this year (2013) and they’re self-described as:
“Three guys playing a bunch of passive aggressive songs about being bored and generally displeased; wrapped up and delivered through throw away pop melodies in a style hopefully dissimilar to anything considered worthy of national airplay in the last five years.”
How about that? You gotta love to hear a group actively wanting to go against the grain to do their own thing.
Their new track “Closure” sounds a bit like the Undertones’ “Teenage Kicks,” with fuzzy, distortioned guitars with a good hook and a pretty sweet guitar solo. The visuals are shot in black and white and are reminiscent of Nirvana’s “Sliver.” Check it out above.
