Veteran punk rockers Green Day have released the latest video for their new single, “Kill The DJ.”
The song sounds somewhat like a mix between punk legends the Clash and the dance-y grooves of alterna-rockers Franz Ferdinand. That blend makes for a simple, yet extremely catchy riff and chorus. The video starts in black and white with the band riding motorcycles through a deserted area before then appearing in color at a punk-y, rave-y club that ends up in (literally) bloody partying.
“Kill The DJ” is the second single off the first album from the upcoming treble release, ¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRé!
