British rock band The Darkness recently unveiled the cover to their upcoming album “Hot Cakes.” In the truest fashion of a project from The Darkness, the cover art shows scantily-clad models bathing in a syrupy stack of pancakes. Quite literal, but very awesome.
The cover was designed by Rob Chenery of creative agency TOURIST. Chenery initially took photos of the models posing with piles of 8-foot pancakes before hand-painting what would resulted in the cover art you see on top of this page.
