Andrés Iniesta, of FC Barcelona, has been given the title of best player in Europe by UEFA.
One of the two key components of the Catalonian midfield that has conquered at some point every title they’ve disputed, Andrés Iniesta (the other being Xavi) has finally received a major personal recognition by winning the UEFA Player of the Year award. Iniesta is capping off an excellent individual campaign as he was also named the Best Player of UEFA’s Euro 2012.
