Vampire Weekend has been away from the music scene for nearly two years in which each of its four members have pursued individual projects. To prepare for their upcoming headlining slot at this weekend’s Pitchfork Music Festival, the New Yorkers returned to the stage last night at Cleveland’s House of Blues and brought along a batch of new songs (via CoS).
One of the new songs, titled “New Song #2” by the YouTube user who captured the moment, shows Vampire Weekend in classic form. The guitar work and harmonies made the new song a promising look into what their next project may be like.
