As promised, J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar have locked themselves in the studio to work on their new joint project. Talks of this project began sometime last year after their first collaboration HiiiPower was released. Both artists have mentioned in several interviews that they want to make a full album and not just an EP with 7 or so songs. They actually already have around 6 songs recorded according to Kendrick and were just waiting to hit the studio to knock the rest of them out. This is by far one of the most anticipated joint projects from two artists aside from the project that Big Krit and Yelawolf are supposed to work on together. Let’s hope we hear some type of release or snippet of what went down at this studio session soon.
