So it’s looking like we may have a possible Lollapalooza lineup leak…
Fake Shore Drive may have gotten their hands on the much-anticipated lineup for this year’s Lollapalooza (again). Whereas the previous list included “urban” heavyweights like Odd Future, Wale, Missy Elliott and even Beyonce along with Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beyonce, The Killers, Beck, and Sonic Youth (rumors circling this to be their last show) as headliners, this new list includes some more contemporary superstars up top.
According to the list, Chicago’s mega music festival may be having the Black Keys, Black Sabbath, Jack White and the Chili Peppers (only major band to be included within both lists for possible headliners). Repping the hip hop world, we may be seeing Childish Gambino, J. Cole, Frank Ocean, and Wale (also on both lists). The list looks like it could have been made by just about anyone with a computer that has Microsoft Word on it and a printer, but I’m sure many of us can hope these are legit and are digging the names here nonetheless.
All in all, it’s looking like the first weekend of August in Chicago will be filling the air with some very Dope music. Many of the Pursuit of Dopeness team have already bought their 3-Day passes, so make sure to get your own asap!
