The annual comedy festival is coming back to Chicago in 2012 and what a way for it to come back! We have all you need to know about the fest right here…
The 4th annual Just For Laughs comedy festival is following their tradition of bringing the industry’s heavy-hitters to the Windy City and have delivered a lineup that will surely get you giddy. The TBS-sponsored festival has brought comedians from the likes of Louis C.K., Russell Peters and George Lopez to the late Patrice O’Neal and Greg Giraldo. This year’s festival will run from June 12-17 and will be held in 15 different locations.
The 2012 lineup (so far) is as follows:
- Vince Vaughn (Dodgeball and The Wedding Crashers): 8PM, June 17th at the Chicago Theatre
- Aziz Ansari (Parks & Recreation and Human Giant): 7:30PM & 10:30PM, June 15th at the Chicago Theatre (both shows sold out)
- Stephen Merchant (Co-creator of The Office, The Ricky Gervais Show): 7:30PM, June 14, 15, 16 at Park West
- Bill Engvall (plus Billy Gardell and John Pinette), (Blue Collar Comedy Tour and The Bill Engvall Show): 7:30PM, June 17 at the Akoo Theatre
- Patton Oswalt (The King of Queens, Ratatouille, Big Fan): 7:30PM, June 14th at the Vic Theatre
- John Oliver (The Daily Show): 7:30PM, June 15th at the Vic Theatre
- Kevin Smith (Clerks, Chasing Amy, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back): 8PM, June 14th at the Chicago Theatre
- Mike Birbiglia (Two Drink Mike & Sleepwalk With Me Live): 7:30PM June 12-16th and 10PM shows for June 15th and 16th at Victory Gardens Theater
- Jeff Ross (Comedy Central Roasts): 10PM June 15th and 16th at Park West
- Amy Schumer (Delocated and Curb Your Enthusiasm): 7:30PM, June 13th at Park West
- The Dan Band (Old School and The Hangover): 9PM, June 16th at the House of Blues
- Henson Alternative’s ‘Stuffed and Unstrung’: 7:30PM June 12-14th, 7PM on June 15-17th and 10PM shows for June 15th and 16th at Bank of America Theater
