David Banner’s Sex, Drugs & Video Games mixtape may still have a long time before it officially drops on May 22nd, but he has released a preview of it through his website to help satisfy those antsy fans.
For “Believe,” Banner enlists fellow southern rapper Big K.R.I.T. to lay down some rhymes on this Jodeci-sampling track. The dynamic between these two rappers seems to work well and we’re getting a solid preview of what’s to come from Banner’s next effort.
Taking a page out of Louis C.K.’s grassroots efforts for selling his last special, Banner is asking for donations as low as $1 from fans to help drive this new “movement” for fans and artists to take back control of the music industry. The mixtape will be available to download for free, but donations are encouraged. Make donations to the “movement” here.
