The “legend” status that Ryan Giggs holds at Manchester United cannot and should not be questioned. Still, if anybody needed any more convincing of this, then look no further than this past weekend’s Manchester United v. Norwich City.
The 38-year-old Welshman gave United’s fans another moment of glory with a game-winning goal in the 93rd minute on the same day he celebrated a milestone of his own. Giggs earned his 900th appearance for the “red devils” that day to become the team’s all-time leader in that category.
Giggs continues to grow his legacy after a career already filled with glory. Since his debut for Manchester United on his birthday in November of the 1990-91 season, he has won 12 Premier League winner’s medals, four FA Cup winner’s medals, three League Cup winner’s medals and two Champions League winner’s medals. These are just a few of the accomplishments that Ryan Giggs has under his belt so far. This man has been on the Pursuit of Dopeness for over 20 years!
For all that he’s been able to achieve during his career so far, for his unwillingness to quit, and his dope career, we salute you, Mr. Giggs.
