Kids These Days Announce Breakup

8 May

While it’s exciting to hear the new solo work from Vic Mensa, it’s sad to learn that it’s bittersweet because it also marks the end of Kids These Days. The band had been on a great run in their career so far, having played SXSW, Lollapalooza, and ConanCreative differences were cited in Vic Mensa’s announcement of the band’s breakup by way of an XXL interview.

The news is shocking, to say the least, and while the saying goes “all good things must come to an end,” we can’t help but feel that this breakup appears a bit untimely. Call us a bit selfish, but we would have liked to hear more from this up and coming Chicago band. Best of luck to all of the members of Kids These Days, we can’t wait to hear what you’ve all got in store for us next.
