Imagine having Kendrick Lamar as your principal for a day! Well, Kendrick Lamar did just that at Mount Pleasant High School in Providence, Rhode Island. The students received this opportunity for winning the Get Schooled National Attendance Challenge. Kendrick gave a pretty dope speech highlighting the importance of a good education.

The 2013 XXL Freshman list has just been released and Chicago was not shut out! Chief Keef is the lone Chicago rep and the “11th Freshman.” Not too mad at this list since I believe Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Logic, Action Bronson, Joey Bada$$ and Keef truly deserve to be on the cover. Would have loved to see more Chicago recognition on the cover though. Not sure how I feel about the rest of the list, but you can take a look at it below.

Update: The cover has been released. Chicago is basically shut out since Keef isn’t really on the cover as I thought he would be. Treated.

Our favorite anti-social lady of the small screen has landed on the latest cover of Complex. The cover show’s the “Funny Girl” is shown covered in Silly String, while the rest of the gallery gives us enough reasons to validate our crush on her.
