A French instrumentalist, born Vincent Fenton, rose to scene in the early 2010s through his take on the electronic sub-genre of new French house. As the name French Kiwi Juice (FKJ) started to gain traction, so did his live performances and genuine mastery on a wide range of instruments. Watching FKJ bang out ridiculous performances through his viral Youtube videos is one thing, but witnessing his craftsmanship live and in person is another.
Seattle’s Showbox at the Market had the privilege of hosting the French DJ for two back to back sold-out performances, Saturday and Sunday night, April 6-7. Following a night jam-packed with live sampling and groovy melodies, it’s hard to pinpoint an exact setlist, yet the crowd still erupted for live renditions of fan favorites including “Skyline”, “Is Magic Gone”, and “Leave My Home”.
FKJ will be making magic on tour (along with confirmed sets this upcoming festival season at Coachella, Lollapalooza, etc.) up until the Summer of 2019. Best bet would be to catch him live before he sells out a venue near you.
